As festival season ramps up to full speed, our calendars are filling to the brim! With so many choices to make, we made a point to leave space in 2024 for Submersion Festival, hosting their fourth annual event and what is shaping up to be the biggest yet.
Returning to Paradise Lakes Campground in Hammonton, New Jersey on October 3-5, Submersion Festival is set to continue their path as one of the most unique lineups on the circuit. With many artists yet to be announced, Phase 1 is here and sets the tone for yet another unforgettable year by the water.
We’re Going Back (Back) to Jersey (Jersey)
Submersion chose to carve out a niche fit for a passionate crowd seeking a fresh experience in a sea of lineups with overlaps, repeats, and costly big names. With debuts, one-of-a-kind sets, and precision scheduling, they have featured the likes of DJ Shadow, Bou, Cloud Conductor, & Wagon Christ just to name a few.
In 2024, they carry on with that trend featuring exclusive label takeovers from 1985 Music, Philos Records, and Qualia and intertwined are the heralds of Experimental, Dubstep, and Drum & Bass alongside their rising counterparts. With names like Caspa, Shy FX, Joker, and Ott., there’s no question where the inspiration is drawn for this unmatched collection of artists.
Digging further reveals just a small part of what makes Submersion special. With an exclusive Soulful Sunrise set from Alix Perez,COPYCATT Downtempo, and debuts from GLXY & SP:MC, we’re due for an incredible run of music throughout the weekend.
Yin & Yang
Hosted by integral Northeast collectives Aspire Higher and The Rust Music, Submersion Festival is the brainchild of fans, artists, and promoters with a focus on quality over quantity in all aspects. Starting with just a single-day event in town, the team slowly expanded its footprint to Paradise Lakes Campground.
Tucked away in the treeline of Hammonton, New Jersey, Paradise Lakes creates the perfect atmosphere with two unique spaces where The Beach and The Woods stages make their homes for the weekend with a sense of purpose for every feature.
The contrast of the two stages flows into the lineup as well, with audiovisual experiences rolling off the water at The Beach, and an all-out dance party under the shade of The Woods. Each of the two features some of the best artists past and present in the modern electronic world.
Whispers are telling us this is only the beginning for this year’s lineup, with a massive Phase 2 not far down the pipeline. To stay on top of updates, tickets, and lineup additions, make sure to follow Submersion Festival on socials below!
