Avicii and Rita Ora earned a well deserved moonman tonight for the “Best Dance” category, thanks to their megahit “Lonely Together.” Their nomination competed with fellow heavyweights Calvin Harris,The Chainsmokers, Zedd, Marshmello,and David Guetta.
The Swedish musician passed away earlier this year. Since his passing, the music world and fans from every country have mourned his passing. “Lonely Together” was one of the last singles to be released by Avicii.
Bravo to the VMA’s and everyone else involved for recognizing the late producer.
