Low-end Productions

Taking shape in March 2023, Low-end Productions launched with a mission to create beautiful immersions that tantalize the visual and auditory senses. The ambitious label landed with quite a splash, leading with a sold-out launch party at The Black Box in November 2024 followed by a glitch hop-focused compilation album in January 2025 that has been circulating the airwaves like wildfire.

Culture East

One of the original pioneers of the electronic music wave currently sweeping over Annapolis, Maryland is none other than Culture East. Heading up event production and adding to the ethos of the environmental aesthetic, this local crew has been an integral part of the development of the newly christened scene.

Skull Vision

Aside from Culture East, the Annapolis music scene has Skull Vision to thank for the vibrant proliferation of electronic music that has poured over the city. Alongside Culture East, Skull Vision led the revival of live electronic music at The Metropolitan with their historic pop-up on the fourth of July last summer (2024). It is this particular event that marked the beginning of the new wave of electronic music in Annapolis, Maryland.

Producers

Rhizomorphic

rhizomorphic

Coming out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the sonic gunslinger known as Rhizomorphic is a perfect representation of the underground sound that the aforementioned collectives are trying to promote. Best known for procuring enchanting blends of downtempo and atmospheric bass music, including a highly notable set at Tipper & Friends ‘24 (Alabama), this highly experimental artist has more than solidified his position in the ‘New School’ of experimental bass music.

While his catalog and performance record might indicate a chiller vibe, Rhizomorphic has recently been making tons of uptempo and dance floor bangers that he plans on debuting at Navigator Sessions this Saturday, March 22nd. From Seinfeld flips to silky breakbeat squelchers, expect this headliner to distribute some of his finest plates this weekend.

Langwidj

langwidj

Coming out of Tallahassee, Florida, Langwidj is a devious sound engineer with a tendency to shake the foundations of any venue he lays his gauntlet upon. A regular contributor at The Rust music label and a well-versed performer at festivals like Nocturnal Funktion, Resonance, and Sound Haven, Langwidj has explored vast territories within the experimental bass realm.

Sqonk

Sqonk

The Sultan of squelch, a purveyor of polyrhythmic plinks and plops, a concoctor of crushing breaks, and the third supporting artist for the debut of Navigator Sessions Sqonk. Another arrival. label affiliate, Sqonk has quickly become a hot topic in the world of underground bass for his trademark sound design and heavyweight production antics.

No overly complex arrangements, no fluffy fills, just mean swinging synthesizers and angry basslines that send frequencies flying.

J.LANG

J.LANG

J.LANG is a Denver-based hacker, womp enthusiast, and arrival. label affiliate. His 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑰 release captures an ambitious sound designer with complex arrangements and meticulous layering that touch down in some of the most foreign areas of left field bass.

As the second opener of the night, expect a set that combines the wonkiness of glitch hop and the swagger of halftime in a highly explosive package.

Kazi

Kazi

Representing Maryland for the debut of Navigator Sessions is a rising local who has mixed plates from Flash to Autumn Revival. With an astute ear for quality low-end music and a developing thumb for his own bass-infused chaos, Kazi comes prepared with a Rolodex of tracks that will open up the night more than properly.

Sound System: Funktion-One Sound by SubSanctuary

Based in Pittsburgh but operating nationwide, SubSanctuary has been tapped to provide sound for the debut of Navigator Sessions.

SubSanctuary

In a tireless effort to provide “system-centric” shows with absolutely no compromise to audio fidelity, SubSanctuary has been on a conquest to share deep-reaching and highly emotive music any way they can. Although they partake in plenty of licensed events, this collective has earned a reputation for throwing some of the rowdiest renegades you’ve ever encountered.

Those of you who have been to Secret Dreams Festival have likely stumbled upon their legendary rig with acts like Mickman, Alejo, Humandala, and Seppa all gracing the system at one point or another.

This Saturday (3/22), SubSanctuary will be providing a Funktion-One hybrid system with (2) MK1 Res2 tops and (2) dual 18” JBL subs all powered by Swedish-made Lab Gruppen amplifiers. With this system, event organizers hope to hit the full range of frequencies that the artists on the lineup have spent countless hours designing.

Visuals: Custom Stage Design, TV Wall, & Projection Mapped Visuals

Smooth Canoe

From the hallowed grounds of Hulaween to the caves of Secret Dreams, Smooth Canoe has planted tubes and constructed elaborate TV installations at venues and festivals nationwide. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, this team of visual artists (Gabe Vostal & Gabe  LaFranchi) has taken the reigns on visual curation for the debut of Navigator Sessions.

An Annapolis resident, neuro.studio affiliate, and highly exploratory animator, Aabstract has slung pixels from Sound Haven to Fire Lights Festival and performed with artists like Resonant Language and Truth.

Koqqa

The next member of the completely homegrown, Maryland-based visual team is none other than Koqqa. While the rising animator has just begun to get his feet wet in the live scene, he has already demonstrated a steadfast pursuit of high-quality pixel arrangement and a keen eye for tantalizing visuals.

Koqqa brings tons of experience working within the club room at Metropolitan and even helped contribute to the early days of Culture East’s and Skull Vision’s electronic conquest of Maryland’s capital city.

Transmutics

The first time he laid his eyes upon the infinite complexity of a fractal, Transmutics knew he had to immerse himself in the visual arts. Quickly diving into programs like Mandelbub and Incendia, the Maryland-based artist began experimenting with his own 3D animations and visual experiments. Since then, he has quietly sharpened his craft in the confines of his studio, waiting for the right moment to share his work with the world.

Harm Reduction

Navigator Sessions has partnered with harm reduction group Remedy to keep all attendees safe and comfortable throughout the night. Remedy will be setting up a table in our vendor’s corner and will have staff members circulating throughout the night to assist fans in whatever capacity they need.

Bars/Menu

In addition to bathrooms, fully staffed bars will also be available on the first and second floors. As mentioned earlier, the debut of Navigator Sessions is sponsored by Dewey Beer Co who will be offering three of their signature beers throughout the night in addition to tastings at their vendor table.
