Ten years of music deserve a proper celebration, and Gryffin brought some friends along for his. On October 23, he took over Los Angeles’ Exposition Park for a night that brought together the music and festival energy that have shaped his career.

AR/CO opened the evening before Gryffin and Alesso took over for a special B2B. With both artists known for big melodies, the pairing made sense. Lost Frequencies followed, adding his own touch before Gryffin’s closing solo performance. The familiar melodies and emotional builds were there, but so were heavier stretches of dubstep and bass music that performed a different kind of energy.
One prime example of that energy came when he worked ISOxo’s “SPIRAL” into his set. Alongside his own material, edits like that gave fans a different perspective for the show.
For a show celebrating a decade of his career, there was plenty of room to experiment. The guest vocalists brought some of the evening’s most personal moments. Inéz joined Gryffin for “Worlds Away,” while Julia Church took the stage for “Spin Me Slowly.” Hearing the voices live gave those collabs some new life for me and most of the crowd. This balance between bass, melodic bangers, and live moments gave the night its real character.
The TLDR: Fans got the melodic side of Gryffin that brought them there, along with a B2B with Alesso, live vocal appearances, and a solo set willing to get heavier along the way.
At Exposition Park, celebrating 10 years meant revisiting the music that built Gryffin into what he is today, while giving fans a few reasons to be curious about what comes next.
