If you spent the entire weekend listening to RÜFÜS DU SOL and Skrillex, you’re not alone, but you missed out on some other great releases as well. Check out our favorite new tracks from this week, and stream the entire playlist below.
Calvin Harris – Promises (MK Remix)
One of the summers biggest hits gets remix treatment courtesy of MK, who’s no stranger to transforming pop anthems into deep house bangers (just ask Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, or Lana Del Rey).
Ramzoid – WORLD EP
Ramzoid has been laying low for most of the year, but he’s finally back with a new sound and a new outlook on music. It was a long process in making this brooding new four-track EP, which Ramzoid describes below.
“World is a summary of the past 6 months in my life. I wasn’t feeling creatively satisfied so i took a step back to figure out what i really wanted to be making. I had never tried singing or writing before, I always made either instrumental music or worked with other vocalists so I decided to challenge myself to learn how.”
Martin Garrix – BYLAW EP
Normally a Martin Garrix EP wouldn’t get me excited, but from the first single on BYLAW I knew this one was special. After releasing a string of singles last week, the EP came into fruition on Friday. The final track “Waiting For Tomorrow” is a collaboration with Pierce Fulton and Mike Shinoda that’s truly something special.
G-REX – RIFT EP
We have one last EP for you, rounding things out with a massive release from G-REX via Liquid Stranger’s Wakaan label. It’s a hefty overload of bass that’s destined to break necks and blow minds.
MVRDA – Destroy
Out now on Never Say Die is “Destroy,” a single from one of our good friend from across the pond, MVRDA. “Destroy” is a heavy and intense dubstep banger that fits the Never Say Die perfectly. The track is featured on Never Say Die’s Black Label XL5 mix.
If that wasn’t enough, check out the rest of our favorites from this week!
