U.K. Up and Comer Ed Lee’s ‘Pandemonium’ is a Must-Listen [Stream Here]

AFTER RECENTLY GRACING THE ILLUSTRIOUS DIRTYBIRD RECORDS WITH HIS TRACK “DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE,” U.K. RISING HOUSE STAR ED LEE IS BACK. This time, with a gripping two-track EP.

Released a week ago on D.C. label Chub Rub, the EP appropriately titled Phenomenalism is chalk-full of hypnotic tones and dynamic, driving bass lines signature of Lee‘s unique sound design.

Purchase the entire EP on Beatport.

Although both tracks are certified bangers, the B-side, titled “Pandemonium” is a River Beats favorite. And as Lee explained, it was one of the first tracks he finished following his Dirtybird debut earlier this year.

“This was one of the first tracks I finished after ‘Down The Rabbit Hole.’ I was listening to a lot behind the label and this is what came out. Since then I’ve been trying to keep the momentum going and have written over 20.”Ed Lee

In this 5 minute 50 second hitter, Lee delves a bit more into the deeper and darker side of House music. As the name suggests, the track lays focus on rising tension and an intense, pulsing bass-line. Perfect for a late night warehouse party, “Pandemonium” is a must-listen.

Following on the heels of a Danny Kolk release a month ago, this EP is just another reason to keep an eye on up and coming D.C. label Chub Rub. With another release announced yesterday, this label is seemingly not messing around. And from the looks of the teaser dropped on their social media pages, it’s going to be a big one.
