“I was just kind of figuring out my direction…and I have it figured out now.” – Canabliss
To witness a creative who has harnessed the experiences of her life – both good and bad – and turned them into art is nothing short of inspiring.
As for Canada’s Canabliss, a bass maven with production and performance magic pouring from her fingertips, that’s just the case.
But it didn’t come easy.
Starting out on the circuit playing tough gigs, opening shows with little to no pay, dealing with the struggles of being an international artist, and scrapping to keep the dream alive had Samanatha Infusini, AKA Canabliss, “fighting for [her] life.”
And fight she did.
All the way to our nation’s capital, where last Friday at Flash DC she unleashed her iconic live set, loaded with galaxies of magic and an arcade of flavor from one end to the next.
Midway through her After Glow tour, with a grand finale at the Ogden Theatre this December, Canabliss live isn’t just an experience to watch; it’s an exhibition to marvel at, all the way from Toronto to Tennessee.
