River Beats Weekly Roundup: 7 Tracks You Slept on This Week

The week has officially come and gone, and even though most of us took some time off to celebrate the 4th of July, the music industry showed no signs of slowing down.

Every week our inbox is filled with quality release after quality release, and to show appreciation for the music we love, we try our hardest to feature as much as possible. So each week, starting last week, River Beats will feature a weekly roundup of the best tracks of the week. Here are seven you slept on this week. Enjoy.

The Chainsmokers – Somebody (Egzod Remix)

I’ve long been a fan of Egzod. Hailing from Miami, Flordia by way of Nice, France, Egzod has a very unique sound in a field of oversaturated producers. He does a remarkable job of capturing themes of world culture mixed with a touch of spirituality. Following a recent release on Lowly Palace, Egzod is back with an infectious remix of The Chainsmokers ‘Somebody.’

Big Ali & Busta Rhymes & R-Wan – Bottles Up

This one was definitely unexpected. Busta Rhymes teaming up with French Producer R-Wan and Big Ali for a club heavy single ‘Bottles Up.’ The single features some heavy club beats, perfect for a night out.

Bellecour – Propellers EP

Who doesn’t love groovy house beats, hot snares, and pulsating basslines? Well, that’s exactly what you’ll get with the rising French duo Bellecour’s Propellers EP. Dropping on Tchami’s CONFESSION label, the two-track EP is perfect for a summer day of dancing.

Todd Helder – Pixel Love

19-year-old Dutch producer Todd Helder has been everywhere this summer. From winning a Marshemllo remix contest, to opening up for Martin Garrix in Ibiza, to now releasing music on Trap Nation, Helder has done it all.Pixel Love’ features a fusion of trap & instrumental hip-hop mixed in with some smooth percussion and jazz-infused piano chords.

Alex Lustig – ‘If you Wanna’ & ‘Sunrise’

The newest signee from ALT:Vision, home to Medasin, K?D, and Autograf is back with not one, but two brand new originals. The Belgium based producer has steadily released chill track after chill track, and his two newest ones, ‘If You Wanna,’ and ‘Sunrise’ fit that description perfectly. Dive deep into Lustig’s catalog, and explore some new tunes this weekend.

Blonde – Me, Myself, & I (Ft. Bryn Christopher)

The infectious duo Blonde are back with a new single featuring vocalist Bryn Christopher. If you are unfamiliar with the group, they’ve seen huge streaming numbers with several of their past releases. And today they are back with ‘Me, Myself & I,’ a euphoric piano house banger with an immediately addictive vocal hook.
