About an hour outside of Austin, texas, lies Burnet, where Reveille Peak Ranch will soon be hosting a once-in-a-lifetime event called Texas Eclipse.
This one-off festival, which will run from April 5-9 2024, takes place in the line of totality for the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8. To celebrate the eclipse, a host of event organizers including Disco Donnie and Experiential Event Company, put together one of the most stacked music, arts, and science festivals in recent years.
To prepare for this massive event, which is estimated to have up to 40-50K attendees, we’ve created a comprehensive guide covering the music, workshops, art, and interactive exhibits you can expect to see at this historic gathering.
The Music
It’s impossible to discuss this festival without first covering what everyone’s most excited about: the music lineup. There are headliners from every genre, from the bass stylings of legends like Tipper, Opiuo, CloZee, Zeds Dead, Barclay Crenshaw, and LSDREAM to renowned house and techno artists including Bob Moses, Desert Hearts, LP Giobbi, and Paul Oakenfold.
Then, of course, there are the live bands. Fans can catch a wide variety of live instrumentation including the Disco Biscuits, STS9, Moontricks, the Floozies, and The String Cheese Incident.
Don’t sleep on the undercard either — the lineup is rounded out with incredible talents such as EPROM, Freedom Fighters, Floret Loret, Treavor Moontribe, El Papachango, Ivy Lab, Vincent Antone, and so many more.

The Workshops
Festivals where you can not only party but learn about fascinating topics are top-tier, and Texas Eclipse is certainly delivering in this category. You can listen to speakers and attend seminars that include astronauts, scientists, professors, yoga teachers, and health and wellness experts.
Topics will include sustainability, psychedelics, culture, AI, space travel, the economy, indigenous experiences, and inner healing.
Some of the most notable names in this category include the legendary Paul Stamets, Dr. Bruce Damer, Hannah Muse, David Casey, Ron Garan, and more. You can have your mind blown by presentations from the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) or attend the massive global meditation, Unify, that will be held during the eclipse.
The Art and Experiences
What’s a music festival without art to gaze at when you’re not dancing at one of the stages or engaging in a seminar? Texas Eclipse will have plenty of exhibits for you and your crew to marvel at, whether it’s live painters or more expansive, interactional pieces.

You can see works from skilled creators like Android Jones, Alex and Allyson Grey, and Chris Dyer, among others. There will also be experiences from collaborations such as Meow Wolf, Grand Artique, and the Black Rock Observatory. Adding to the aesthetic will be LED installations, circus collectives, flow artists spinning fire, and aerial artists performing around the event.
The Venue and Camping
Reveille Peak Ranch is a 1,200-acre paradise with forests, fields, creeks, lakes, and more than 60 miles of trails to explore. This beautiful, diverse landscape will make a perfect backdrop for the four minutes of totality and the festival at large.
Since it’s located away from major cities, the views of the stars at night should be stunning. During the day, you can swim, hike, and romp around the grounds to catch glimpses of the wild animals that roam these lands year-round.
Camping passes are still available, with options and packages for car camping, group camping, RVs, family camping, quiet camping, glamping, and more.
If you’re flying in, you can catch shuttles from the Austin airport and the city itself to make your trip a breeze.
