We’re seeing a new vulnerable side of Taska Black in his newest release featuring singer/songwriter Emma Sameth. Together, the two tell a story of personal change and nostalgia in “Heavy Hearted,” a journey of someone whose identity has changed to conform to modern life.
After initially listening to the demo from Emma, Taska shares that it was like “she was explaining things in my life that I haven’t been able to put into words yet.” In a weird time of our lives where things feel EXTREMELY heavy, “Heavy Hearted” is a sentimental melancholy piece of music that has a purpose: to connect with those listening.
