Subtronics Shares New Quarantine Tunes With 'Scream Saver' EP [Listen]

Subtronics has blessed us with a new 4-track EP to expand his long catalogue of heavy bass music. With each track in Scream Saver, there are “several different approaches” he took in terms of sound design and mix-down style, according to Jesse Kardon himself.

Listen to the EP below:

The EP title track kicks off the EP with “Scream Saver,” an eerie tune that leads into “Lullaby” featuring vocals from British grime rap duo Virus Syndicate. He found more left-field inspiration in “Lullaby” specifically, which is represented in the mid-drop build. Capping off the EP is “Discotek” featuring Akeos and “Blow Stuff Up.” Scream Saver continues to show the ever-evolving, ever-growing side of Subtronics as an artist and the multi-faceted sound design talents he has acquired through the years.

“There are several different approaches I have taken with this EP. It is a more noticeable range in sound design and mix down style. When I play live I am paying so much attention to the crowd, analyzing their reactions, that it can lead to overthinking. But ultimately, this has led me to look for a cleaner and more simplified, yet hopefully still unique and powerful sound.”
