Smoakland has officially unveiled their latest EP, Always Wanna Talk, in collaboration with electronic music heavyweights Big Gigantic. The EP, which dropped on Deadbeats on March 15th, marks a massive milestone for Smoakland and further adds to the mainstream appeal they’ve recently gained.

In addition to the EP release, Smoakland is riding a wave of momentum from their recent partnership announcement with Red Light Management, a powerhouse representing renowned artists like Dave Matthews Band and ODESZA. With all this fanfare regarding the Smoakland project, including their recent collaboration with Big Gigantic, fans are beginning to look at Smoakland as one of the leaders in the live circuit.

The Always Wanna Talk EP delivers a poignant blend of Smoakland’s heavyweight sonics with Big Gigantic’s live-instrument-based electronica. While the two projects have made their names in different niches, they overlap beautifully, especially in this recent release.

With over 77k monthly listeners on Spotify and multiple performances at the prestigious Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2023 alone, Smoakland’s influence and popularity in the electronic music realm continue to soar.
