Slander & team were gearing up for their first ever major event called Starbase, which was slated to take place at The Woodlands Nature Preserve in Charleston, SC on October 8th and 9th. Artists on the lineup included Alison Wonderland, San Holo, NGHTMRE, Big Gigantic, and more.

Unfortunately, Slander + team deemed it best to cancel the inaugural Starbase event due to a peak increase of COVID-19 cases in South Carolina. Per the statement, hospitals in South Carolina “are rejecting elective surgery in order to have room for the massive surge of COVID patients.” Tickets will be automatically refunded within the next 10-14 days.
