San Holo just added the fourth track to his weekly ‘stay vibrant’ collection with a fresh singer-songwriter track “idk anything (demo)”.
San Holo’s keeping his birds happy and connected each week of quarantine. In addition to live-streaming his songwriting process on Twitch from his hometown in The Netherlands, the Bitbird frontman keeps delivering fresh and experimental tracks each week with his ever-expanding ‘Stay Vibrant‘ collection, providing us all a much-needed blessed boost. This week, San is back with “idk anything (demo),” pushing into singer-songwriter territory further than ever before.
The acoustic track, inspired by the uncertainty of quarantine, showcases San Holo’s delicate vocals and versatility as a songwriter. Backed by string accents and subtle electronics, San crafts a somber and relatable tale. Yet, despite the track’s melancholy tone, San crescendos with a synth-driven burst of optimism to close the track.
“idk anything (demo)” follows three weeks of standout tracks from the Dutch producer and an astoundingly busy period for his independent label bitbird. Earlier this month, the team dropped a fan produced album bitbird create together vol. 1, featuring tracks from upcoming producers like skygate, Shwirl, Cumulus, and more that were handpicked from a producer challenge on his loyal Discord fan community. The imprint has also pushed out incredible singles from TWO LANES, Zes, and Rome in Silver, with many more on the way.
