Sad Money, Felix Cartal,& Gallant Link for Infectious ‘Lose My Love’ [Listen]

A conglomerate of musical expertise, Mikhail Beltran AKA Sad Money tapped Felix Cartal and Gallant for “Lose My Love.” The LA-based writer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist along with two other talented artists created a unique R&B-infused house record that will get you grooving. Markedly infectious and accessible to boot, all three credited artists bring their respective styles to the table to bridge the gap between four-on-the-floor compositions and contemporary soul.

After breaking into the music industry in 2016, Sad Money started working with heavyweight artists from the likes of Khalid, Duckwrth and more. In 2019, Sad Money released his debut solo single “Le Freek” signed to Ultra Records, marking the genesis of what quickly became a promising career for the young producer.

“‘Lose My Love’ was always going to be a really special record since the first time we worked on it. Gallant and Andrew Jackson wrote some amazing lyrics touching on the pushes and pulls that come with a lot of relationships and working on the production with Felix Cartal, McClenney, Black Coffee and Eric Henriques really brought the sound of this song to a new level. It’s a heavy song both lyrically and sonically and I can’t wait for everyone to dive into it.”
