Phraktal Re-Create 1990's Orbital Hit 'Chime' [Listen]

It’s a blast to the past and we’re along for the ride. Last Friday, Phraktal unveilved their re-creation to Orbital’s 1990’s hit “Chime.” It’s a deep and dark 7-minute journey that seems to transport you back to the 90’s at a warehouse rave. An array of electronic elements from drums to arpeggiated synths lead the way as listeners continue to become entranced by the smooth production and melodic hooks.

Not familiar with Phraktal? The group is comprised of Christian Boshell, John O’Dwyer & Brian Cody, all hailing from Ireland. The three met through their similar music tastes in Dublin, where all 3 served as resident DJs for various clubs in the area. They certainly are not new to the game, having released their debut album in 2015. Their second album, titled Nightwalk, is due later this year.
