Trap lords, Partica Artist Group, hit another banger out of the park with Side 2 Side, a new release from Buzz Junior. Partica Artist Group is the brainchild of trap kings of their own, Gurf and Runnit. On top of releasing some true absolute heaters over the last few years, they are an incubator for some of the genre’s hottest talent.
This latest installment from Buzz Junior fits the bill and is an in your face experience that you will definitely want on repeat. With a super twangy bass that you can’t help but bob your head and bounce and wonky and wobbly groove, this track is a great show of what they call Trap 2. It’s a fresh take on an older genre that takes it to a new level. Above all, Buzz Junior is definitely someone you shouldn’t sleep on. He has a wildly ranging sound that can go from soft and subdue to bass in your face.
Partica is quickly making its way into the more mainstream sound. In addition to pushing out some absolute bangers, they also host the Partica Beat Battle League on their Discord which pits new players in a battle royale-style beat battle. Each contestant has to put together a groove from a selection of samples. They then will only have 30 minutes to put together a track. I’ve been in a few as a spectator and it’s like you’re looking into the future of the genre. Check them out on Twitch to get in on the fun!
