Parra For Cuva Ignites with Fresh Single ‘Let It Burn’ from Upcoming Album Mimose [Listen]

Parra For Cuva just dropped the second single from his upcoming fifth album, set to hit us in April. The new single, titled ‘Let It Burn,’ is complete with a new official music video.

Parra For Cuva teamed up with the awesome BiPoc choir project A Song For You and British talent Beau Diako to spice up the soundscape. The result? An indie-pop anthem that’ll have you hitting the repeat button.

With over 50 voices from Berlin’s R&B and soul scene, A Song For You adds a gospel-esque atmosphere.

“I got inspired by ‘Bed on Fire’ by Teddy Swims and wanted to capture that essence. I was on the hunt for a choir that could bring that gospel magic.” – Parra For Cuva

The chorus chants, “Let it burn, let it burn, let it burn on down.” It’s catchy, it’s liberating, and it’s all held together by Beau Diako’s polished guitar skills, giving it that extra oomph.

Parra For Cuva is all about Wanderlust. His music, a fusion of Caribbean steel drums and ancient Zimbabwean instruments, transports you to far-off lands. And guess what? His upcoming album, Mimose, named after a flower that blooms in Italy (where the tracks were born), promises to take you on a similar journey.

Parra For Cuva’s live performances are a whole vibe, matching the otherworldly aesthetic of his music. From sold-out shows to epic performances at Burning Man and Sziget, this guy knows how to rock a stage. And with upcoming gigs at Drumsheds for Drumcode alongside legends like Adam Beyer and Yotto, 2024 is looking like Parra For Cuva’s year.
