I stumbled upon this duo from Adelaide, Australia a few months ago and haven’t stopped listening to them since. PINES‘ repertoire features both original songs and remixes to popular artists, a similar path that ODESZA followed during the beginning of their music-making adventure.
Last week, the duo released another original, their first in months. And let me just say this, if you like ODESZA at all, you will love “I’ve Been Waiting.” Give it a listen below.
PINES consists of Adam Dormand and James Kenneally. The two are slowly but surely getting recognized for their amazing work. They combine very ambient soundscapes and vocals to energetic melodies. Similar to ODESZA, PINES takes us on a journey with their music.
According to their website, a debut album is in the works and personally, I couldn’t be more excited. These two deserve way more recognition for their beautiful otherworldly music!
