NGHTMRE just dropped an adventurous crossover EP with New Orleans own Pell, and we are loving it.
The Ep, titled Magic Hour, contains two songs: the upbeat “Swiss” and “Lights Low,” a more laid-back and seductive track.
“Swiss” consists of a wavy instrumental with loose high hats and a Cali-style drum line. Paired with Pell’s soft singing voice and profound raps, the two artists create an extremely cohesive track. The song ends with a tasteful outro that resembles the mellow style of Curren$y, a New Orleans rap legend.
The second track on the EP rides a different Wave than “Swiss,” but the chemistry between Pell and NGHTMRE is just as effective. “Lights Low” is a seductive track that has a 1970s R&B vibe and is equipped with provocative raps and effortless background vocals.
The duo also provided some awesome visuals for the EP.
NGHTMRE had an excellent 2017 and is continuing that hot streak into 2018. Working and collaborating with tons of high caliber artists like Wiz Khalifa, Dillon Francis, Fat Joe and DJ Snake.
