The summer may be coming to end, but that won’t stop us from bringing you the heat every week via brand new music.
This week offered singles from Mod Sun, Minnesota, Promnite, Notaker, Mija, Sofi Tukker, Clozee, and of course San Holo. Check out our favorite new tracks from this week, and stream the entire playlist below.
Mod Sun – Burning Up
Mod Sun is back with a poppy Future bass track on Bell Thorne’s new music label Filthy Fangs. Definitely not a sentence I thought I would hear this week, but it’s 2018 and everything goes. “Burning Up” is stitched together with a robust production line, boasting an essence defined crisp, future-bass aromas.
Minnesota – Burn
On his new single, “Burn,” Minnesota teams up with Stylust and Gisto to concoct a reggae-infused wonky dubstep work. An ode to smoking marijuana, this song will surely be a festival set staple…and a mighty fine time to light em’ up.
Notaker – The Storm
Monstercat & Notaker are back with a brand new single titled “The Storm.” Notaker is no stranger to Monstercat, having worked with them for the past two years. His sound is unique, and “The Storm” proves to be no different, immersing fans into his narrative.
Promnite – 4 Letters feat. TZAR
Our man Promnite is back with his first EP in almost a year. The producer is apart of the popular ATHLETIXX crew along with KITTENS and Hoodboi. “4 Letters” features TZAR and is apart of Promnite’s upcoming EP EXIST, which will be out on Fool’s Gold very soon.
Man, this album is shaping up to be something special. San Holo is back with not one, but two new singles from his debut LP album1.
Here are some other tracks inspiring us this week.
Mija – Dead Flowers & Cigarettes
Sofi Tukker – Energia Parte 2
These are just a few of the songs in the newest update to Freshly Picked Beats. Be sure to check out the Spotify playlist in its entirety below.
