Medasin has to be one of my favorite artists right now. His ‘Irene’ EP that came out last year is still on repeat, and his 2019 is living up to be just as good.
He’s released numerous hits already this year and has produced tracks for Cautious Clay and DUCKWRTH. Now the time has come for him to offer up his first remix of 2019.
He put his talents to work on Local Native’s smash hit “When Am I Gonna Lose You.” Much to my delight, the remix is superb. The soft synths and slapping percussion Medasin is known for are on full display. Pair them with the Local Natives top line and you have one of the best remixes of the year.
