Inspirational Norwegian DJ and producer Matoma has partnered with German premium vehicle manufacturer BMW to release the ‘Energized’ four-part video series that combines three of Matoma’s passions – DJing, sustainable products and traveling the outdoors.
The episodic BMW program follows international dance music icon Matoma as he travels around Norway in a BMW electric vehicle and performs at some of the most beautiful destinations the country has to offer. Each of the four parts will come with a VLOG episode showing Matoma’s exciting and funny travel shenanigans on the way to each location followed by the breathtaking DJ set at each.
Join the avid outdoors explorer as he travels to breathtaking views and performs at Jotunheimen National Park, Flåm, Hotel Ullensvang in Hardanger, and The Bolder Skulodge in Forsand. The VLOGs will be released each Wednesday and the DJ sets each Friday after The Voice Norway airs, on which Matoma is one of the most beloved judges. Matoma shares, “Over the lockdown last winter I had to get outside and re-energize myself in nature! So I spoke to my friends at BMW and we came up with an idea to drive an all-electric vehicle to some beautiful parts of Norway and put on a banging DJ set in the wilderness, something I’ve always wanted to do!!!”
The campaign comes following the announcement of Matoma’s 22-date international ‘Energize’ Summer tour and the music video for his single with electronic dance-pop trio A R I Z O N A, “Heart So Big.”
