What a day for rap music. At midnight, Eminem dropped a 13-track album titled Kamikaze out of absolutely nowhere. Kamikaze is a complete refresher to what has otherwise been a pretty bleak summer of rap music releases. On top of that, G-Eazy also dropped a new song: “Bad Boy.”
Both of these releases have one thing in common: they blatantly rip on Machine Gun Kelly. The feuds have been long-standing. G-Eazy and MGK subtweet each other often, and just an hour ago, MGK uploaded this Instagram post.
In Eminem’s Kamikaze, he not only calls out Machine Gun Kelly but Lil Yachty, Tyler the Creator, Lil Xan, among others. In “Not Alike,” Eminem addresses MGK by name for talking about his daughter in a tweet from 2012 (grudge, much?). The diss:
“But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne. If you wanna come at me with a sub-machine gun.
And I’m talkin’ to you, but you already know who the f*ck you are, Kelly.
I don’t use sublims and sure as f*ck don’t sneak-diss
But keep commentin’ on my daughter Hailie.” -Eminem
In “Bad Boy,” the G-Eazy diss is just as blunt:
“Your shots just graze me, I’m standing, they put a hole in me, I answer to no one, nobody can get control of me, MGK please stop trolling me, get over me.
You wanna be me, you’re mad that you’re not as big as me, I’m everywhere, I’m your nightmare, you can’t get rid of me. Call an Uber, turn on the radio, imagine hearing me
‘Him & I’s’ on, you’re listening to Halsey sing of me, can’t f*ck with nobody with so much negative energy” – G
Of course, he had to bring Halsey into it.
MGK fought back with a mediocre freestyle on a radio station to G, but hasn’t addressed anything to Eminem yet.
