What perfect timing.

Last Friday, Louis the Child and Elohim came through with a positivity-laden release to counter the turmoil going around the world.

The Chicago-based duo have a penchant for combining atmospheric vocals with synth-heavy instrumentals. This latest collaboration, “Love is Alive”, is well on its way to becoming a springtime anthem. Over the course of the weekend, the highly anticipated release picked up nearly 200,000 plays on SoundCloud as well as taking the #1 spot on HypeMachine.

Although Elohim is a relative newcomer to the indie pop scene, 2017 may be her breakout year. Her ethereal vocals continue to garner attention from fans and potential collaborators alike.

What’s next for these artists? You can catch Louis the Child on their spring tour as they stop at various cities and festivals throughout the US and continue to release new music. Look out for Elohim at several spring festivals including Middlelands, Lightning in a Bottle, and Firefly.
