You may not be her biggest fan, but you can’t deny that Lizzo has a good heart! During the leg of her tour in Australia, she took some time off while in Melbourne to help sort through donations and packing food hampers for those affected by the Australian bushfires.
Volunteers at Foodbank were warned about a special guest, but no one quite anticipated it to be Lizzo herself as she walked through the doors in a bright orange vest.
Foodbank also shared images to their social media. They wrote: “Beautiful Lizzo stopped by … What a star, she even packed hampers for fire-affected regions. Thank you for the support.”
The organization has over 400 volunteers help sort and pack food hampers for those affected by the bushfire. It is estimated that the fires have claimed the lives of 25 people and more than 1,900 homes destroyed. Thousands of people and animals have been evacuated.
