Lightning in a Bottle is going through big changes, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Lightning in a Bottle, one of our favorite festivals last year, announced that they are moving the festival’s location to Bradley, California. In addition, they shifted the festival dates to May 8-13th, instead of their usual Memorial Day Weekend.
For weeks, we were left wondering where Lightning in a Bottle would be held, and who would be performing. The anticipation and excitement was real.
Now the Wait is over.
Earlier this month, Lightning in a Bottle announced their new location and their 2019 lineup. As always, it delivers on all fronts.
Disclosure, Lane 8, and G Jones headline the Lightning, Woogie, and Thunder stages, with impressive support throughout. Joining them are some of our favorite artists, including Elohim, 1 7 8 8 – L, and CloZee, who returns after delivering one of the best sets of LiB in 2018. Don’t miss a special performance by Escapade, a supergroup comprised of Walker & Royce and Ardalan.
This year, Lightning in a Bottle is happening at Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area in Kern County, California. The venue has more coastline, more grass, and more trees than the previous location. Change is always hard, but this venue looks absolutely stunning, and we’re excited to see how the LiB team transforms the space. Check out what the organizers have to say about it, along with a teaser video below.
“The land on the venue is flat and the layout is much more consolidated so we will be able to keep all areas of the campgrounds closer to the festival grounds than in years past. And finally, we will be offering a lower ticket capacity for less total attendees than the last few years. Altogether, this adds up to a more comfortable, easier to traverse, and more intimate LIB experience compared to our last few years in Bradley.”
