LICK only recently showed up on my radar, but I’ve quickly become a fan. He’s one of those artists that has emerged with the blossoming midtempo space that 1788-L and Blanke are pioneering. LICK’s dropped originals and bootleg remixes throughout the year, much to the delight of his fans. Now the masked producer from Phoenix is ready to share his debut album.
The first single has LICK teamed up with LA producer Slowpalace and vocalist Sara Skinner. The track leads in with Sara’s vocals lifting the listener up before LICK comes in with a heavy drop. This one’s a festival anthem for sure and you can catch LICK playing it out at places like Electric Forest, Audiotistic, and more throughout the Summer.
