Last weekend, GRiZ hosted his debut Triple Rainbow camping festival in East Troy, WI at Alpine Valley Music Theatre. With not one but TWO Chasing the Golden Hour sets, on-stage drop-ins and killer production, Triple Rainbow was overall a massive success for its inaugural year. Attendees raved about the event, but there were many instances of less-than-ideal interactions with police forces on-site at the venue and in the campgrounds.
There were multiple shared tweets, see below, regarding the police force at the venue including police raiding campsites without probable cause and intimidation tactics.

I’m not surprised but it’s really sad to see Griz saying he’ll never go back to Alpine after the police presence/demeanor this weekend. I’m from the area and expected it to be bad, but it was insane. I feel lucky we were left alone and didn’t have any issues, just lucky.

@Griz thank you for the music, but you HAVE to pick a new venue. Alpine Valley sucks. Cops were raiding campsites without probable cause, intimidating people where they were sleeping with police dogs, and generally destroying the vibe.

Those who camped on-site were forced to comply with a strict noise curfew from 2:30am – 8am. Officers meandered through the campgrounds, giving out citations to all that did not obey with the no noise curfew.
GRiZ heard the frustration loud and clear and took to his Twitter to share that he is equally as upset at the policing for his debut festival. 3- this has only blown up because our community just doesn’t take shit from cops where this kind of shit in other show communities is rampant and goes unchecked. We however won’t be treated like that and jus be silent about it
