FNGRS CRSSD unveils the initial lineup for PROPER NYE/NYD, a highly acclaimed two-day event set to return to San Diego’s Petco Park on December 31st and January 1st.
PROPER has swiftly established itself as Southern California’s premier New Year’s Eve celebration, bringing internationally renowned artists to the expansive grounds of Petco Park in the heart of San Diego’s city center. This follows the triumphant debut last year and the sold-out Fall edition of FNGRS CRSSD’s flagship CRSSD Festival in September.
The phase one lineup features an array of exceptional talent. Leading the roster are Chris Lake, head of Black Book Records, and the innovative TESTPILOT persona of deadmau5. Joining them are Grammy-nominated electronic artist and vocalist ZHU, Diplo from Higher Ground and Mad Decent fame, UK’s triple-platinum duo CamelPhat, and the enigmatic German project Claptone.
Attendees can also anticipate performances from chart-topping duo Gorgon City, beloved Australian artist Sonny Fodera, the iconic figure Chris Lorenzo of Late Checkout, the accomplished Duke Dumont, and the adored UK pair Eli & Fur.
House music enthusiasts will delight in the presence of groove-driven duo Walker & Royce, Sydney’s influential Hayden James, the globally acclaimed Layla Benitez, and Cloonee, the head of Hellbent Records. The lineup also boasts multi-platinum Latin House star HUGEL, tech house standouts Biscits and Kyle Watson, melodic house producer Franky Wah, and Chicago’s emerging underground talent Azzecca.
The techno selection is equally impressive, featuring renowned acts such as Berlin’s Pan-Pot, Chris Avantgarde from Germany’s Afterlife, the breakout sensation Rebūke, and emerging melodic techno artist Massano.
PROPER will unfold across the expanse of Petco Park’s field, with stages scattered throughout the surrounding area. The iconic venue offers electronic music enthusiasts unobstructed views of downtown San Diego, creating an ideal setting for a New Year’s Eve celebration soundtracked by both current and future genre luminaries.
The event is presented by FNGRS CRSSD, the team behind the flagship CRSSD Festival. PROPER NYE/NYD marks the culmination of a successful year for the brand, which has seen flourishing editions of CRSSD in the Spring and Fall, the debut of the alternative and indie-themed Bleached Fest in the summer, and various other standalone shows in the market.
The Alumni presale commences on Thursday, August 17th at 12 PM PST, available to purchasers from CRSSD Spring or CRSSD Fall 2023, PROPER NYE 2022/23, and FNGRS CRSSD Petco Park 2022/23 events. The SMS Community presale starts on Friday, August 18th at 12 PM PST, followed by the general public on-sale for GA and VIP tickets at 2 PM PST.

Additionally, FNGRS CRSSD has revealed initial details about the brand-new PROPER Las Vegas edition, set to take place on December 30th and 31st at AREA15.
