It’s a brand new week, and with it comes brand-new music for your ears.
Making some headway out of Germany is the young and ridiculously talented producer/DJ Felix Jaehn. Known for his smash 2015 hit ‘Ain’t Nobody (Loves Me Better),’ Felix is set to release his newest album I on February 16th. To drive some hype for the album, the Jaehn officially dropped the lead single ‘Cool’ along with a groovy music video shot by Los Angeles director Drew Kirsch.
Kirsch and his unique style are recognizable from past work which includes the likes of Blackbear and Louis The Child. The video’s theme matches the lyrics sung, showing different characters expressing their desire for self-expression.
Why do we like it?
The track is extremely bouncy, plus a groovy side that makes it sound unique in its own sense. G-Eazy collaborator Marc E. Bassy lends his vocals, while legendary rapper Gucci Mane adds a totally new direction towards the end of the song. If you are a previous Felix Jaehn fan, this track is right up your alley.
