‘Beyond the Music’: Elements Reveals Diverse Activities and Wellness Programming

This time next week, eager festival goers will fill the beautiful lakeside forest in Lakewood, PA for BangOn!NYC’s weekend fest Elements Music & Arts Festival.

And like the name suggests, Elements is much more than just your typical music festival. The team over at BangOn!NYC recently revealed the long list of varying activities that attendees can take part in. Ranging from wellness workshops to art installments to games, there is literally something for everyone at this year’s event.

Summer Camp Activities + More

Elements gives attendees a chance to relive childhood memories at sleep-away summer camp with various games and activities. Festival goers are urged to enjoy the beautiful lake in a canoe or kayak, play against friends in beach volleyball and hitch a ride on BangOn!NYC’s Pirate Ship. Also available throughout the weekend is professionally assisted rock climbing and zip lining, mini golf, basketball, tetherball, volleyball and much more.

Additional summer camp shenanigans will be led by Elements’ activities coordinator and ‘funtenderRawb Lane. Strut your stuff in a Costume Parade, win prizes during the Vinyl Record Hunt, and lots more from his crew of party starters.

Wellnest Activities

Soul and body-based lectures, assorted workshops, and diverse yoga classes are among the many activities offered daily at the Wellnest. Learn how to massage your partner during a Rhythm Flow Couples Thai Massage class, “find your flow” during Sputnik Yoga’s Silent Disco Yoga, or learn how to “Green Your Wardrobe” with EcoCult.

Feeling a bit more creative? Head over to one of the Drink and Draw sessions held by The Graham Bar, learn how to braid at Party Braids 101, or get your boogie on at the Twerkshop and Vogueshop.

Interactive & Immersive Art

Throughout the grounds, festival goers and art enthusiasts alike will find one-of-a-kind art, decor, and installations. Check out the various live art galleries, sculptures and paintings; hang out with your fam in a blacklight cuddle puddle; support local artists during the interactive group art show curated by the local Wayne County Arts Alliance or enjoy a blend of tech and performance art from live experience curators NON de GEN. These are just a few of the many unique art offerings curated by Elements’ art director Julianne Irene.
