Electric Forest Drops Initial Lineup For Each Weekend

November 18th 2017

Electric Forest 2017 will be one for the books. In order to satisfy a festival population that has grown to roughly 45,000 attendees, the Rothbury-based event has expanded to offer two weekends of non-stop music for the first time ever.

The lineups for weekends one and two were released on Thursday, serving up a diverse mix of jam, dubstep, funk, and sub-genres of house music. The String Cheese Incident will headline both weekends and perform two shows each for a whopping total of four Forest appearances. Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, Lotus, Claude VonStroke, and A-Trak will also be returning to Sherwood Forest as headliners for both weekends. They will be in the company of acts such as ODESZA and Above & Beyond on weekend one, with DJ Snake and Thievery Corporation joining the party for weekend two. Be sure to dive deep into the fine print on these posters and familiarize yourself with the smaller names like Big Wild, Ekali, Breakbot, Illenium, Francis and the Lights, Ganja White Night, Minnesota, SNBRN, Opiuo, Rezz, and Wave Racer. All of these and more add a unique flavor and fire to this heavy-hitting round up.

Electric Forest made a major leap by opening up this second weekend, one that should benefit fans greatly as they now have double the chance to come together under the glowing trees of Michigan. General Admission tickets go on sale December 28th and a payment plan will be available. Happy Forest!

THE GENERAL ON SALE OF WRISTBAND AND LODGING PACKAGES FOR #EF2X17 IS DEC 8, 2016!
