Australian Producer du0 Drops Vibrant New Single 'It's OK' [Listen]

du0 Releases New Single It's OK

Australian songwriter and producer du0 is back on the scene with his newest single “It’s OK.” The release takes a fresh spin on future bass with a hard rock sway.

“It’s OK” swings between the blurred lines of rock-influenced electronic. The track serves as an excellent follow-up to his homegrown debut, “Bits of Tape,” offering a more refined tone and captivating drop. While the verses play off with a decidedly modern-pop styling, the track takes a thrilling jump in the high-energy drop. The downtempo verses set the stage for an emotional ride before Du0‘s powerful vocal topline weaves between sultry synths in the chorus.

In addition to the animated vocal chops, the Brisbane-based producer blends the ideal future bass elements with more raw and emotional organic elements. Speaking on the release, the producer explains:

“[It’s OK] is quite a personal song for me. It delves into the delicate nature of relationships and how they can fail when they’re unbalanced, when people feel they are being taken advantage of. I really played on these emotions when writing and producing ‘It’s Ok’ – using delicate verses that develop into loud, raw and aggressive choruses.”-du0

The track serves as an intriguing second effort from the rising producer, who comically notes Microsoft Excel as his lyricism tool of choice. From the looks of it, there should be plenty more solid tunes on the way from du0 in the near future.
