DROELOE is back with fellow Dutch producer Sem for a daring dark new single “Facing the Sea,” one of their heaviest releases to date.
DROELOE, one of our Top Artists to Watch in 2018, have continually raised the stakes this past year. From numerous festival appearances across some of the largest stages in the world, including Buku, EDC Las Vegas, and Lollapalooza, to their first headline tour in support of their progressive sophomore EP The Choices We Face, DROELOE have propelled themselves to the forefront of the experimental future bass scene.
The bitbird duo’s newest collaboration with rising producer Sem, “Facing the Sea“, displays their relentless persistence. The single is their first release since The Choices We Face this past August and fiercely reaffirms the duo’s versatility. The monstrous drop features a haunting lead that cuts straight to the front of the mix. In true DROELOE fashion, Vincent’s inventive percussion drives the energy in the double-time second verse and final drop. Building on the theme of “Looking Back“, a standout single from the last EP, DROELOE stated on “Facing the Sea“:
