David Marston and Sarah Couch are DejaVilla. Despite Marston living in the UK and Couch living in Kingston, Jamaica, DejaVilla are still able to make sensual R&B magic happen. Out today, “In the Morning” is the lead single from their forthcoming album Castle With a View. Hopping on the tune is Equiknoxx vocalist Shanique Marie, fusing in some more hip-hop elements into the already seductive soundscape.

Both Marston and Couch call Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, home. There they attribute much of their artistic inspiration behind DejaVilla, found right there in the artistic and diverse metropolis. Of the duo, Marston is the mastermind behind production and songwriting, and Couch adds a “signature Jamaican flavor via patois-tinged vocals and sensual lyrical prose.”
