Though Cubbi only entered into the pop/indie-electronic scene earlier this year, he’s already made quite the moves! His debut single “Rippling” had us hooked from the beginning and now, we’re introduced to not one, but two new songs. In addition, his debut EP, titled nothingspecial, will be out this Friday.
The first single, “Buzzkill,” is a collaborative track with Moving Castle co-founder Robokid. In short, the song basically dives into giving someone the middle finger to “people who kill the vibe,” something that every human on the planet can relate to. and “White Lies, Like Flies” touches on a past relationship as he moves on. Cubbi calls nothingspecial a “modern reflection on interpersonal relationships.”
