Out everywhere on Monstercat, Crankdat continues his busy 2020 vibe with another new release: a new melodic dubstep tune, “Tell Me.” This release has been a favorite so far personally amid his lengthy discography list for 2020 in and of itself. Taking us back to the melodic bass era with altered vocals kicking the track off, Crankdat pulls you in immediately.
In just a few years, Crankdat, aka Christian Smith, exploded from his city in Ohio thanks to his multi-faceted and unique sound design. His remixes and originals are regulars were frequently found in most festival sets pre-COVID.
Something unique about Smith is that he truly is an artist in every sense of the word. He designs his own artwork, executes his own live show visuals, and is the sole mastermind behind everything with the Crankdat project.
