The coronavirus has forced many large events to cancel or postpone their 2020 edition of events. Set for April 10-19, Coachella has been left untouched as to what was going to happen for the event, until now.
Your EDM, among others, reported that Coachella will postpone the event in April until October 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak. The lineup will remain the same. This inside scoop was broken via Twitter before the official statement from the festival.
In addition, Festive Owl has also confirmed this news via Twitter.
I can now CONFIRM #Coachella WILL be postponed until October 9th and 16th due to #coronavirus concerns.
Lineup will attempt to remain the same, but moving a festival this size isn’t easy.
They are currently working with artists and an official announcement is in the works. 🦉

Coachella has made no official announcement yet, but we can probably expect one today.
