There are few places in the world more magical than Telluride, Colorado. Located deep in the San Juan Mountains, the town feels like a painting come to life. With jagged peaks and air providing the perfect canvas for audio, visitors describe Telluride as, “It’s like you built a town in the middle of a national park.” Here, Of The Trees and his Memory Palace label will carve out a new chapter in bass music with the first-ever Camp Alderwild.

Taking over Telluride Town Park on August 22–23, Camp Alderwild isn’t just another festival. It’s an invitation into Of The Trees’ personified world: an immersive ecosystem where music, nature, and community collide. And with the weekend splitting into pre-parties, afters, and surprise sets across the town, Telluride itself becomes part of the stage.
A Vision Realized
Tyler Coombs, known as Of the Trees has long been more than a producer. He’s a world-builder, producing music that feels like stepping into a fusion of moss, fog, and glowing basslines, true to his passions for nature and Runescape. Camp Alderwild is the natural evolution of that vision. Following his Red Rocks triumphs and the Moonglade Tour, Camp Alderwild serves as both a homecoming to the Colorado resident, and a new venture… …one that reaffirms our favorite “Tree Boy” as one of the bass scene’s best curators.
A Lineup Carved in Stone
The support is nothing short of exceptional. Jade Cicada, fresh off his Break the Hold tour, and legendary sets at Forbidden Kingdom, Electric Forest, and Lightning in a Bottle, will bring his one-of-a-kind sound design and growls to the Rocky Mountains he once called home. Surrounding him are heavyweights Tycho, Ott., Eprom, Taiki Nulight, and the Thought Process Live Band. Together, they form a team of forward-thinking artists whose craft thrives in exceptional environments like this one.

Sound at the Summit
If the lineup wasn’t enough, Alderwild is also making moves on the production front by deploying the Funktion-One Vero system. Known for its precision and warmth, the Vero setup is the first class example of sound deployment and in the hands of artists like Jade and Of the Trees. It promises to translate every detail into mountain air with spine-tingling clarity and earth-shattering vibration. For a festival centered around sound design and immersion, it is a true statement of intent: nothing less than the best will be accepted.
The Spirit of Telluride
But what truly sets Alderwild apart is its location. Telluride has long been a sacred ground for music lovers thanks to the work of Pretty Lights as well as Planet Bluegrass, who havebrought legendary festivals like Telluride Bluegrass and Rockygrass to life with a sustainability-first ethos. Now, with Alderwild, the town opens its arms to a community that is into deep bass, exceptional visuals, and late-night exploration. To see this culture intertwine with Telluride’s natural appeal is something that will be talked about for years.

Fellowship in the Mountains
At its core, Camp Alderwild is about fellowship. Both between artists and fans, but and also between the music and the land itself. Whether you’re catching Detox Unit at the Opera House, dancing poolside at Mountain Lodge, or standing in awe as Jade Cicada bends sound beneath the stars, the weekend promises to be more than a festival. It’s a gathering of kindred spirits drawn together in one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
Of The Trees has given us albums, tours, and unforgettable nights. But with Camp Alderwild, he’s giving us a world.
