Every year, thousands of people flock to the Playa to their second home at Burning Man. Artists such as Crywolf, Diplo, CloZee, and Flume, immerse themselves in the unique transformational culture that is Burning Man. From August 28 – September 3, Black Rock City becomes a haven of art, music, and love. It goes much further than just the music though, and more about the personal connection you have with those around you.
This year’s theme is quite fitting for the event: metamorphoses. “Inspired by its very tendency to change peoples’ lives.” Based on this theme, hundreds of artists join together to form some of the most intricate pieces of art based on this theme.
For those unable to make it out to the Playa this year, there is a live stream that you can tune in to right from the comforts of your home! While our River Beats team has never attended, it’s quite interesting to see how people from all walks of life join together for this experience.
