Seven tracks, one shared message, and a release that gives back. Denver’s Misfit Media releases “Fight Back” remixes, revisiting Basura and Joe Nice’s collaboration with a lineup of underground producers and a charitable purpose.
Originally featured on Basura’s 2025 album, Creators, “Fight Back” called for resistance, unity, and standing up for what’s right. The new EP carries that message into different corners of electronic music, with all proceeds donated to World Central Kitchen.

The seven-track project features remixes from Pharma, Homemade Weapons, Q100, Oddkut, SYXX, and Joe Nice, alongside a brand-new VIP from Basura. Moving through reggae-inspired dub, jungle, and beyond, the release gives each producer room to take the original in their own direction while keeping its purpose intact.
For Misfit Media founder Corey Blecha, the project offered a chance to bring that message to more listeners.
“The original track carries an important message about standing up for what’s right, challenging those in power, and protecting freedom and dignity in an increasingly divided world,” Blecha says. “When these remixes started coming together, we saw an opportunity to amplify that message and reach a wider audience through the power of music.”
That idea extends beyond the tracks themselves. By directing proceeds to World Central Kitchen, Misfit Media is giving listeners a way to support the release and contribute to a broader cause at the same time.
Fight Back Remixes arrives November 6, 2026, coinciding with Bandcamp Friday, and will be available digitally and on streaming platforms.
