In January, River Beats covered Ark Patrol and his return to electronic music after battling cancer in 2018. After the release of his first single “Your Eyes (And Other Safe Havens),” I was personally hooked with the Ark Patrol project, and anxiously awaited the release of his first major release since 2015.
This album release, self-titled Ark Patrol, marks a new chapter in the artist’s life. In each track, you can hear a sense of empowerment and hope. Despite the battles he experienced in 2018, he overcame. And with this conquering came an amazingly intricate and ethereal album for all to enjoy.
Ark Patrol is one you have to listen to from beginning to end! “Fiend” is a personal favorite.
