Future beat producer ALIGN just delivered the first single from his forthcoming EP with a shimmering new single “California Coast” featuring Sarah de Warren.
Taking his talents to the revered electronic label Lowly once more, Chicago-based ALIGN made a splash with the first single from his newly-announced sophomore EP Vista.
“California Coast” is the first taste from Vista, setting the stage for ALIGN’s next big move after his stunning debut EP Intertwine. On the lead single, Sarah de Warren’s vocals adding an alluring touch to the spacious synths and soft electronic beat, with West Coast references abound. Speaking on the vision for the track, Align (real name James Fisher), adds,
“‘California Coast’ is the first single off of my 2nd EP titled ‘VISTA.’ For me, this track has a golden hour / summer vibe. Sarah was great to work with the first time we created a track together, and I wanted to bring in another track with her on it. ‘California Coast’ became a nice mixture of both of our sounds.” – ALIGN
The track is a full-on embodiment of a ray of sunshine and seems like the perfect backdrop to the warm days ahead.
