12 Fresh Tracks You Need to Hear Now [Playlist]

Spring is here, and new music is in full bloom (I hate these intros as much as you do)

This week we’re blessing you with Dabin’s new album, and plenty of other melodic bass goodness from Slow Magic, DEVAULT, and more. If that’s not your thing we also have some pounding house and techno tracks from J. Worra, Bentley Dean, and Ali Stone.

Check out our favorite new tracks from the past week, and stream the entire playlist below.

Manila Killa – Wake Up Call (Slow Magic Remix)

1993 is one of our favorite records of 2019, and it’s starting to get the remix treatment. Slow Magic is a perfect fit for “Wake Up Call” and he does the original justice while injecting his own signature shimmering style. Stay tuned for more hand-selected remixes from 1993 and catch Manila Killa on tour this spring.

Dabin – Wild Youth LP

The highly anticipated second studio album from Dabin is here, and it does not disappoint. Wild Youth is a beautiful body of work full of melodic cuts, captivating drops, and infectious vocals.

J. Worra – On The Run (ft. Kaleena Zanders)

“On The Run” is a vibrant house tune that marries the 90s nostalgia of Kaleena Zanders’ soulful voice with J. Worra’s en vogue tech-filled production. The track, co-written with VennessaMichaels, is the third release this year for J. Worra, who is poised to have a breakout year.

“Our collaboration is a strong way to showcase that, yes, females are out here songwriting, producing, djing, toplining….etc. This song is an example of that.” – VennessaMichaels

Notaker – Each Other (ft Eric Lumeire)

Feed Me & Kill The Noise – I Do Coke (Bentley Dean Remix)

Rising mau5trap star Bentley Dean breathes fresh life into one of our favorite party songs with an insane 128 BPM flip. I didn’t think I could love this song more than I already did, but Bentley has proven me wrong.

Super Future – Again

Grand Rapids, Michigan producer Super Future marries electric guitar with gritty bass on his shimmering new single “Again”. Super Future’s gritty, melodic bass and electro-pop sound is making waves, and his forthcoming EP Prisms Pt. 1 is not one to be missed.

Third Party – Together LP

Third Party’s progressive house LP Together is here, and they have this to say about it.

“We think TOGETHER not only puts a stamp on what our identity is as Third Party, but it’s the nearest we have come to expressing who and what we are as artists. From the euphoric uplifting progressive melodies and harmonies, to the very UK based vibe with the use of sampling old vocals, it’s the blend of these different styles that we hope creates our unique sound.

VOLO – Hold Me Down (ft Elle Chante)

Thomas Gold & Kosling – Wildest Dream (ft Matthew Steeper)

DiRTY RADiO – My Feelings

“My Feelings” is the final single from DiRTY RADiO’s upcoming album Pleasures, set to drop April 12th. It’s club-ready dance track that meshes their soul-doused vocals with an invigorating future house topline.

“My Feelings’ explores the idea of admitting to yourself that someone has put you in a vulnerable position that you’re not used to, and learning how to deal with it.”

Ali Stone – Oculto

Colombian-born artist Ali Stone is both the producer and vocalist on this dark, atmospheric track. “Oculto” blends alluring Spanish pop vocals with hard-hitting techno beats for a song that’s as unique as it is infectious.

Alessia Cara – Out of Love (DEVAULT Remix)

Rising producer DEVAULT has been enlisted to remix Alessia Cara’s hit song “Out of Love” and it’s a match made in dark, brooding heaven. The remix rests at the delicate crossroads of dark, sexy energy, and genuine, raw intimacy.

Saint Punk – Guttah

Stumbled upon this track by Saint Punk, and let’s just say I’m in love. It’s gritty, raw, and dirty. “Guttah” pulls the world of bass and house together, forming a fluid, festival-ready rager that showcases several modern elements.

Shadient – Medination

Shadient continues to explore the darker and experimental side of electronic dance music with “Medination”. The single is the third release from his upcoming Divide EP which comes out in April on Gud Vibrations Records.

These are just a few of the songs in the newest update to Freshly Picked Beats. Be sure to check out the Spotify playlist in its entirety below.
