Verne Troyer, Known For His Role of Mini-ME in Austin Powers is Dead at Age 49

The man that stole our hearts as Mini-Me in the the Austin Powers series died early Saturday morning. 

A post on his Facebook details that Troyer suffered from depression, and was recently hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning. His family announced this morning that Troyer was taken off life support. 

Verne began his Hollywood career n 1994 as a stunt double for Baby Blink in the film “Baby’s Day Out.” It wasn’t until 1999 that Verne made it big with his iconic role as Mini-Me.
