TRUTH turn the “page” in their book with the lead single from their forthcoming album out last week, “Pages.” Their first release since 2018, the New Zealand-based contemporary dubstep duo reveal this atmospheric cut and a glimpse into what is to come in their newest album, Acceptance. According to the two, “Acceptance is a deeply personal musical experience for [them] where [they] have bared far more of [themselves] than in previous albums.”
With cutting-edge bass sound design, TRUTH have long established themselves “proven tastemakers; successful in their original productions, dance-floor moving sets, and in running their own label imprint, Deep Dark & Dangerous.”
Give “Pages” – their newest release – a listen below:
About Deep Dark & Dangerous
Their label, Deep Dark & Dangerous, started out as a club-night. In 2013, the club-night turned record-label has grown to become home to over 50 signed artists, 8-+ releases, and internationally touring acts. In addition to the label is their functional apparel line with items from tactical bags to kimonos.
“We chose ‘Pages’ as the lead track because it embodies everything about this release that we are proud of. It’s poignant and nostalgic, while also existing in a dreamlike, lush, yet slightly eerie space. With this track we hope to evoke in the listener that feeling that you get when you come across a long forgotten memory.” – TRUTH
