Tomás Tomás Serves Up Synth-Laden Harmonies in ‘Elizabeth’ [Listen]

Tomás Tomás, New York singer-songwriter, is here with his first release of 2020: a deliciously synth-y new single titled “Elizabeth.” “Elizabeth” is the lead single from his forthcoming EP, The Car Drives Itself, due later this year. This release blends a mix of new-wave and electronica with silvery vocals that match the vibes.

Accompanying “Elizabeth” is a mesmerizing music video directed by Kevin Lombardo. The video sees Tomás Tomás through the cityscape where beauty and chaos intersect. Dream team behind the project includes editor BRTHR and director photography Patrick Golan.

Watch the music video below:

Tomás Tomás writes:

When I sat down to write ‘Elizabeth’, my only objective was to put pen to paper and see what came to mind & it wasn’t until days later that I understood exactly what the song was about. It was very much like a dream. You close your eyes and these complex subconscious thoughts manifest themselves into images, & only when a dream lingers in your mind for days are you able to decipher the meaning. “
