…And it was most certainly worth the wait.
Hulaween attendees new and old have been blowing up all Facebook pages and groups surrounding Hulaween, peer-pressuring them to release the lineup for this year. The three to four-day festival (depending on if you partake in the early-arrival party) is located in Live Oak, Florida and takes place the weekend prior to Halloween (October 27-29). The venue has received massive praise in the festival community and the experience on the grounds is ranked second to none.
This year, the Hulaween team scored huge names. The lineup’s headliners includes three cheesy nights of String Cheese Incident, plus Bassnectar, Ween, GRiZ, Run the Jewels, The Disco Biscuits, Nick Murphy (Chet Faker), RL Grime, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Claude Vonstroke, and Vince Staples.
Undercards of the lineup include a variety of names (plus a handful that played last year and other years past): Greensky Bluegrass, FKJ, Big Wild, The Polish Ambassador, Shiba San, Manic Focus, Space Jesus, The Russ Liquid Test, and more to be announced.
Plus the official pre-party experience features Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Liquid Stranger, Eoto & Friends, Elohim, and more. This lineup is untouched, and the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park always brings something special to the table.
The Hulaween experience embraces stepping out of your comfort zone and exploring new music. That is exactly what this lineup achieves. With the balance of familiar names and new ones, the ability to have an awesome time at Hulaween is 110% achievable.
