Rüfüs Du Sol has quickly gained momentum as one of the world’s preeminent live electronic acts. Today, the group released their first fresh tune in over two years: “No Place.”
The Australian trio and their creamy, West Coast house tunes have been selling out shows across the country. After announcing two shows at the Los Angeles Shrine Expo they completely sold out within minutes. They’ve announced scattered headlining performances across the country in between festival performances at Bonnaroo and Electric Forest.
After releasing their first two albums under Sweat It Out Records, this will be the group’s debut release with newly adopted Reprise Records. Founded in the ’60s by Frank Sinatra, Reprise Records is home to a variety of artists, mainly classic rock or punk rock centric.
It’ll be interesting to hear what these boys of house will do with some new major label backing.
Rüfüs Du Sol’s will release their third album in the fall of this year. Hopefully more information and tracks will be coming soon.
